The 2024 Calicem is a big, dramatic wine. Calicem is 100% Merlot vinified in wood, an approach that worked especially well in 2024. Ample and broad, this is super-refined. Black cherry, lavender, licorice, mocha and espresso all saturate the palate. This full-bodied Saint-Émilion delivers the goods. The 2024 has a lot of potential. Tasted two times.
