2020 Colle Massari Vermentino Montecucco Melacce

Sweet apples, pears, white flowers and hints of candied lime create an inviting bouquet as the 2020 Vermentino Melacce Montecucco blossoms in the glass. This is soft, round and soothing, with white stone fruits and minerals under an air of pretty inner florals. It tapers off fresh and honeyed with a flourish of salty minerals that adds wonderful contrasts. The 2020 may not have the energy of the 2019, but it’s a fine effort all the same.
