1995 Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo Vigna Big

Good full medium red. Smoky oak, toffee and a meaty nuance on the nose. Less dense and sweet than the examples from '96 and '97, but expressive in the middle palate, showing red fruit and loam flavors. A stylish wine with very good - rather than outstanding - ripeness and concentration.
