The 2009 Chianti Classico La Tradizione is beautiful. Dark cherries, menthol, flowers and mint are some of the many nuances that are woven together in this delineated, vibrant Chianti. As always, the Poggiopiano style is one that favors richness and power, but the Tradizione has plenty of aromatic nuance and overall complexity.
