The Poggio al Sole 2015 Chianti Classico is a pure and silky expression that reflects the basic ideals and the philosophy of the appellation. The wine is direct and pleasurable. Yet it also offers just enough complexity and intrigue to keep your interest glass after glass. This warm vintage exhibits ripe and juicy fruit with grilled herb and camphor ash. The blend is 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Merlot. Some 36,000 bottles were produced.
