While the current release is the 2015, the 2005 La Reve Blanc de Blancs continues to motor on just fine, with toast and brioche notes accenting citrus fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, buttery, soft and creamy in feel, relaxed and easy to enjoy.

(99% chardonnay and 1% pinot blanc): Light, bright yellow. Aromas of pear, lime and anise, with toasty lees and honey accents adding depth. Juicy and precise on the palate, offering intense orchard fruit flavors and a hint of dusty talc. Closes on a nervy, dry note, with very good clarity and lingering spiciness. I really like this wine's balance and vivacity.
