Note di degustazione
The 2012 Meursault 1er Cru les Perrières has a more austere and distant bouquet compared to the explosive Genevrières: wonderful stone and sea cave scents with oyster shell coming through with continued aeration. The palate is poised from the very well balanced tension and length, plus there is tangible salinity on the finish. This is the well-behaved cousin of the Genevrières but hey, who do you want to hang out with?

Very rich and dense. Still muscular and very youthful. Almost painful acidity at first but the undertow is magnificent. Still embryonic but very juicy and beautifully confident and balanced. Long and neat. (JR)
Not that much on the nose but big and massively proportioned on the palate. Still very embryonic. Lots of acidity but no dryness on the end. Glamorous. Bright fruited. (JR)
