The laser-like 2001 Chassagne-Montrachet Caillerets will particularly appeal to those readers who shy away from sensual, hedonistic wines. It offers loads of juicy lemons, minerals, and chalk flavors in a light to medium-bodied, focused format. Its personality is long, not clipped, and it reveals good depth of fruit.
