Even better, the 2016 Viognier Suize is cut from the same cloth yet shows slightly more minerality in its white peach, brioche, and tangerine peel aromas and flavors. It’s supple, medium-bodied, and beautifully balanced.

The 2016 Suize (Viognier) is laced with the essence of lemon confit, spice, vanillin, pineapple and dried apricot. Textured and creamy on the palate, with a good bit of aromatic brightness, the 2016 is super-expressive today.
The 2016 Suzie Viognier is composed of 100% Viognier. It is whole-cluster pressed and aged sur lie for 20 months in new and neutral French oak and stainless steel with extended batônnage. It sings of white peaches, pink grapefruit and guava with hints of baker’s yeast, beeswax, orange blossoms and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, the palate packs a wallop of generous stone fruit and tropical flavors with compelling freshness to match and a long creamy finish. 211 cases produced.
