The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon, from a vineyard on Pritchard Hill, is a gorgeous, fleshy wine layered with black plums, cherries, smoke, camphor and licorice. It is a gracious, understated wine that impresses for its balance, class and harmonious finish. The wine keeps getting better in the glass, as hints of tar, smoke and licorice flow through to the dense finish.
