The 2016 Linea, 100% Sauvignon Blanc, emerges from a dry-farmed site in Coombsville that Andy Erickson and Annie Favia owned before they purchased their current property. Intense varietal notes and a strong, phenolic character are at the heart of Linea. Lemon peel, white flowers and crushed rocks are all accented in this explosive, deeply flavored Sauvignon Blanc. Linea is done with no malolactic fermentation. The clonal blend is 2/3rds Sauvignon Blanc and 1/3rd Sauvignon Musque, which gives the wine its distinctive aromatic profile.
