2020 Domaine Nicolas Rossignol Nicolas Volnay Les Caillerets 1er Cru

The 2020 Volnay Caillerets 1er Cru contains 80% whole cluster (not that Nicolas Rossignol intended that much...long story) but that actually works - the stems lending freshness to counterbalance the richness. The palate is rich and decadent, powerful with a slightly Syrah-like finish. With 15.2% alcohol, it’s a heady blockbuster of a Volnay.
