Boillot has two parcels in Les Pucelles – one in the middle of Lefalive’s vines and the other just below Chartron’s Clos des Pucelles. It’s a fine and delicate wine, floral with pinpoint balance and incredible detail. There’s a transparent quality to the fruit, which washes over a base of crushed rock. Pure, vibrant and satin-textured. Refined, flawless Chardonnay. Aged in 60% new oak.
