The 2018 Beaune Les Teurons 1er Cru is aromatic, light on its feet and expressive. Sweet dried cherry, crushed flowers, anise and spice are all knit together nicely. This is an especially gracious, airy style for the year. - Antonio Galloni

The most serious of these Beaune premiers crus is the 2018 Beaune 1er Cru Teurons, a concentrated, structured wine redolent of wild berries, peonies and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, it's built around youthfully firm but fine-grained tannins that will reward some bottle age with greater textural plenitude.
