2023 Meursault Les Cras

The 2023 Meursault 1er Cru Les Cras is a rare Pinot Noir from a village known for its whites. Aromatic and light on its feet, the 2023 wafts from the glass with scents of crushed red berry fruit, rose petal and savory accents from the 50% stems. The Cras is a wine more of linear intensity than volume. It’s a style that works quite well. I very much admire the tension here.
