2013 Savigny Les Beaune Vieilles Vignes

(60% new oak): Bright red. Aromas of red berries, cherry, orange zest and rose petal show a slightly liqueur-like ripeness. Then sweet and fine-grained in the mouth, with good density to the fruit-driven flavors of cherry and raspberry. A bit youthfully edgy on the end but has the concentration and length to harmonize with some time in bottle.
