The first vineyard Marchand harvested in 2003, the Savigny-Les-Beaune Marconnets, is produced from 60-year old vines and aged in 50% new oak. Its reveals waxy black cherry scents and a medium-bodied, silky-textured character. Loads of black cherries are found in this fruit-forward effort. Drink it over the next 5 years.
