1988 Pommard Les Rugiens

Bouley's best wine in 1988 is his Pommard Les Rugiens (it was also superb in 1987). He has produced a gorgeous wine with layers upon layers of deep berry fruit, a healthy lashing of toasty new oak, and excellent ripeness and length. It should be at its best between 1993 and 2005.
