Musky, smoky aromas of raspberry, cherry, chocolate, coffee and underbrush. Fat, round and rich but not overly sweet. Nicely plump in the mouth but could use a bit more lift. Finishes with sweet tannins and some noticeable oakiness (Brun took this out of 20% new barriques at the racking in late spring).
