Note di degustazione
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is much more rounded, supple, and sexy compared to the Coombsville with its spicy, blackcurrants, Christmas fruitcake, dusty minerality, and violet aromas and flavors. Rich, rounded, supple, and beautifully polished, it's a layered, sexy wine, especially in the vintage.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is ample, deep and super-expressive. Dark red cherry, cedar, iron, plum, espresso, licorice, white pepper, smoke and sage add to an impression of power and gravitas. Readers will have to be patient with the 2017, but there is a lot to look forward to.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville possesses tremendous richness and pedigree, even if the elements aren't quite fully put together at this stage. Powerful and expansive, the 2017 has terrific potential, but it also needs time to harmonize.
A barrel sample, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville opens with crème de cassis, blackberry compote and baked black plums scents plus hints of tree bark, truffles, black pepper and black soil plus a touch of bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied and layered with black fruit preserves, it has a chewy texture and plenty of freshness, finishing on a spicy note.
