30% whole bunch. Cask sample. Mid ruby. Lovely intense red-fruit nose with smoky overtones. Quite floral too, bright redcurrant fruit and a touch of darker raspberry and cassis. There’s something a little torrefied and smoky from the wood too, but not hard-nosed Pommard at all. (MH)
