Punteggio 92/100 · Da bere 2018-2032, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017
Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting, Rollin's 2014 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has an odd ash-like aroma on the nose, but then it pulls itself together and reveals attractive cold stone/oyster shell notes. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, fine weight in the mouth with a poised, saline finish and a touch of grilled walnut on the aftertaste. This is worth checking out, and it should give wine lovers a dozen years of drinking pleasure.

Sweet, a tad simple on the nose. Good substance but from the point of view of value I would head for his Frétille. Good fresh green streak on the finish gives this zip. (JR)
