Restrained red cherry fruit with some vibrancy, enhanced by smoke, woodland, licorice, balsamic and cedar aromas. The palate is highlighted by a full body and firm, chalky tannins. It’s fierce yet ripe, integrated and lifted, with high acidity and a balanced finish. Youthful style, still rugged yet good. Best after 2028.

This is a limited release of 5,000 bottles.

This is like pure silk on the palate. Fresh acidity adds energy, and crisp wild berry fruits swirl throughout. Balsamic spice notes form toward the close as the 2018 finishes with crunchy tannins, all while maintaining a lovely, energetic feel. Beautifully done.
