2022 Chassagne Montrachet Les Chaumees

The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Chaumées 1er Cru, which comes from a plot prone to some hydric stress, takes time to unfold on the nose. Touches of grass clippings and meadow underlie the slightly more malic fruit. There's plenty of freshness, and the aromatics here are nicely focused. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity. One of the Domaine's more elegant Chassagne-Montrachet, this will drink well for the next decade.
