The 2019 Meursault Clos des Corvées de Citeau, which was the first vineyard picked this year, has a tightly wound bouquet of crushed rock, jasmine and honeysuckle aromas. The palate is smooth and slightly honeyed in texture on the entry, richer than Chavy-Chouet’s other Meursault, revealing hints of sesame and a little toastiness toward the long, harmonious finish. Excellent.
