Such a bright nose with lemon-curd and fresh-pineapple aromas, plus a touch of vanilla oak. Excellent depth and some creaminess on the medium-to full-bodied palate, but the lively acidity really focuses everything, pulling it all together beautifully at the long, dynamic finish. Drink or hold.

Notes of smoky orchard fruit, white flowers and citrus oil introduce the 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Blagny (Maison), a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine that's lively and mineral. This will offer a broad drinking window.
The 2019 Meursault-Blagny 1er Cru comes from purchased fruit. It has a fragrant bouquet of white-flower-infused citrus fruit, plus hints of peach skin and tangerine. The palate is well balanced with a peachy opening and a fine bead of acidity. Fresh if just missing a little persistence on the finish. Drink over the next 6–8 years.
