The 2019 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has a strangely minty bouquet, with touches of fennel and white chocolate infusing the citrus fruit. The palate is a little gassy and moderate in depth but needs more complexity and grip on the finish. There are better examples in this vintage, and I prefer some of Louis Moreau's other Grand Crus this year.
