The 2023 Pommard Les Croix Noires 1er Cru was showing a little reduction on the nose, though it possesses more vigor than the preceding trio of Volnays. The palate is medium-bodied and linear in style with crunchy red fruit notes, fine grip and a dash of white pepper on the finish. Drink this over the next decade.
