Punteggio 17.5/20 · Da bere 2027-2035, Julia Harding MW, jancisrobinson.com, Feb 2025

Well-sited parcel in En Charlemagne (0.25 ha) owned since 2011. The 45- to 50-year-old vines are ploughed by horse and certified organic. On the Pernand-Vergelesses side of the hill. Still a touch of CO 2 because still on lees and not yet racked. Fermentation and malo in barrel, 20% new oak. Cask sample. Inviting, grapefruity citrus, marked stony-mineral character, with freshness and precision on the palate. Grapefruit pith and clementine as it opens. Pure and concentrated with immense freshness in this hot vintage. Very long, creamy, dense and mouth-watering.  (JH)

Punteggio 94-96/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2025

The 2023 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is very promising, unwinding in the glass with aromas of peach and pear mingled with white flowers, orange oil, toasted bread, almonds and baking spices. Full-bodied, suave and seamless, it's ample and layered, with a lively spine of acidity and a long, chalky finish.
