2023 Chablis Bel Air et Clardys

The 2023 Chablis Bel-Air et Clardy (two parcels from limestone and marl soils planted in the same year) has an enticing bouquet, with hints of butterscotch, roasted walnuts, a touch of smoke and a strong marine scent. The palate is well balanced with a tang of mandarin and tangerine. This is off-dry and almost Chenin-like toward the texturally satisfying finish. It lingers long in the mouth with a tingle of lemongrass on the aftertaste.
