The 2023 Saint-Aubin Le Remilly 1er Cru currently has a slightly conservative nose, even with plenty of aeration. Maybe it just doesn't want to play today? The palate is more encouraging, offering red apple and blackcurrant leaf, with a light spice and a hint of mirin on the finish.
