Note di degustazione
Notes of pear, clear honey, white flowers and freshly baked bread introduce the 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Abbaye de Morgeot, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless wine that will offer a broad drinking window.

Cask sample. Mid lemon. Peach, apple and lemon. Powerful and intense, with pointed, crisp acidity. (MH)
The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot 1er Cru has a more malic and austere bouquet following on from the Maltroie, a bit aloof at the moment. The palate is powerful with great depth, a little more primal and oily in texture, perhaps slightly higher in pH with plenty of extract on the finish. Fine—though I err more toward the 2022 here.
