Cask sample. Bottle feels very heavy! Robust and sweet. Chunky. I could imagine serving this at a shooting lunch if I were ever involved in such a thing, but it's short of finesse. (JR)

The 2023 Chorey-lès-Beaune Village is a blend of two cuvées, one picked at the beginning and the other at the end of harvest. It has a pretty floral bouquet with a mixture of red and blueberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, pure red cherries, crushed strawberry fruit and candied orange peel on the finish. Fine.
