Cask sample. Mid crimson. Sweet red-cherry aroma, fragrant and very Beaune. A little bit of stewed fruit on the palate but this may be the sample. Firm tannins require time to mellow. Harmonious even now but needs time for the pleasure factor to come to the fore. (JH)

The 2023 Beaune Les Teurons 1er Cru has a perfumed, floral bouquet that just requires a little more delineation and mineralité . The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet core of red fruit, a little "jagged" in texture toward the finish. This is one for early-term consumption.
