2022 Meursault Les Casse Tetes

The 2022 Meursault Les Casse-Tetes comes from 45-year-old vines and was raised in the classic 20% new oak. Ripe stone fruits, spicy wood, flowers, and a beautiful, salty sense of minerality that builds with time in the glass are followed by a medium-bodied white with a layered, richer mouthfeel, beautiful overall balance, and a great finish. Perhaps with the best mix of richness and minerality in the lineup, it's not far off the style of the Vieruils and is going to benefit from a year or three of bottle age. It should be decanted if drinking any time soon.
