The 2021 Ladoix La Corvée 1er Cru has a perfumed nose with redcurrant, wild strawberry and crushed stone scents that soar from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins, a dash of white pepper and a linear, almost Pommard-like finish. Worth seeking out.

The 2021 Ladoix 1er Cru La Corvée is a highlight of the range this year, bursting with aromas of sweet red berries and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and pure, with a fleshy core of fruit, racy acids and melting tannins, it's a bright, charming wine from Mallard.
