Note di degustazione
Magnum, from vines planted in 1905/6 by Guillaume d’Angerville’s grandfather. Slightly dumb nose. Very ‘cool’ initially, then rich and broad even if not the most concentrated Meursault. Complete and pretty rather than sensational. (JR)

Right on the border with Volnay. Tank sample. Lifted lemony nose with rich fruit underneath. Very pure and cool rather than seductive. Made for the long term. Quite edgy at the moment – definitely telling the taster to go away for a while! Acidity and structure dominate fruit currently but I’m sure it will be worth keeping. There’s a certain wet-stones element – not unlike Chablis! (JR)
The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Santenots reveals a gently reductive bouquet of pear, white flowers, toasted nuts and freshly baked bread, followed by a medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless palate that's impressively bright and mineral for such a sunny terroir in so warm a vintage.
