A value blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Sagrantino, 10% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the Tenute Lunelli 2018 Montefalco Rosso Tenuta Castelbuono Ziggurat shows a soft style and approach. Red cherry, bright fruit, earthy tones and garden herb define the bouquet. With nice balance, this is a clean and well-executed production of some 98,000 bottles meant for easy drinking with an Umbrian gnocchi or stringozzi pasta.
