1990 Brunello di Montalcino

Fanti is just beginning to estate bottle its production, having previously sold the grapes to other producers. The 1990 offers up an attractive, sweet, ripe, forward nose of cherries, earth, herbs, and a touch of cedar and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, ripe, round, and richly fruity, this is a supple, forward style of Brunello di Montalcino that can be drunk now or cellared for another 10-15 years.
