2016 Savigny Les Beaune Les Serpentieres

The 2016 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Serpentières is also showing well from bottle, offering up a complex but youthfully reserved bouquet of plums, strawberries, sweet spices and rich soil. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and tight-knit, with an ample chassis of fine structuring tannins and juicy balancing acids. This will need some time, but it's a successful Serpentières in the making.
