Note di degustazione
Empty bottle 535 g. 100% Pinot Noir exclusively from the Drouhin Domaine. The grapes were harvested by hand in small open crates and sorting took place in the vineyard. The grapes were pressed with a vertical press and the free-run juice was separated from the pressed juice. Maceration and vinification took 2–3 weeks with ambient yeasts under controlled temperatures. The cap was punched down once a day until fermentation was halfway through, and then it was pumped over once a day until the end of the fermentation. Winemaker Véronique Boss-Drouhin. Natural cork closure. TA 3.3 g/l, pH 3.46, RS 2.3 g/l. Vegan. Exclusive. Available in up to 200 shops. Mid-depth garnet. Light nose before beguilingly sweet fruit. Seems expensive in a supermarket context but this won’t let you down. Even if I’d drink it sooner rather than later. It’ll last till Christmas though … (JR)

Drouhin's 2019 Côte de Beaune goes from strength to strength. Consisting substantially of declassified Beaune premiers crus, it bursts from the glass with notes of raspberries, cherries, plums and petals. Medium to full-bodied, supple and enveloping, with melting tannins and succulent acids, it's an immensely charming red that exemplifies the appeal of the vintage.
