2019 Chablis Vaulignot

The 2019 Chablis Vau de Ligneau 1er Cru has a light, simple, malic nose that doesn't really engage. The palate is better, citric and tense with sharp acidity, but I would have preferred to see a bit more weight and complexity on the rather mean finish. Maybe it will gain some girth with bottle age; I hope so.
