The 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo is a terrific introduction to these wines. Dried cherry, tobacco, cedar, crushed flowers and spice all open effortlessly. There is good energy and plenty of structure here to allow for quite a number of years of fine drinking. I would be just as happy with a glass or bottle of this fine Langhe Nebbiolo.

Showing a lean and shiny ruby appearance, the 2019 Langhe Nebbiolo (with 7,000 bottles produced) delivers subtle tones of wild cherry, cassis and fresh red rose. The wine glides smoothly over the palate, imparting balanced freshness and just a hint of tannic firmness as it does. This vintage ends on a sweet note but has all the basic qualifications to pair with a steak au poivre.
