The 2021 Aloxe-Corton Les Vercots 1er Cru, which is planted with the Pinot Très Fin clone, has a light nose with a mixture of red and blueberry fruit and hints of iris flower in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. It's taut and fresh, perhaps attenuating slightly towards the second half. There's a nice, peppery aftertaste, though. Give it a couple of years in bottle.
