Most attractive blend of Sangiovese with Merlot. Intensely ripe Sangiovese dominates the flavour while the Merlot fills in the framework with attractive but not excessive sweet fruit. Needs food as the tannins are still pretty present but most dramatic and attactive already with no oak in evidence. (JR)
