Note di degustazione
From Domaine plots: Chapelots (Right bank) located just below 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre, Les Cartes located between 1er Crus Montmains and Vaillons and Les Pragues (Left Bank). A clear and elegant nose with nice citrus and apple press. No warmth from the vintage felt here. Harvest was key here. The palate holds a great grip with an excellent balance between acidity, minerality and a fresh/suave sweetness that drives towards a powerful and well controlled mid palate. The finish is long and persistent, it seems that a few more years of cellaring will create a closed to perfection Chablis Village for this value!

Full bottle 1,410 g. Fermented in stainless-steel tanks then aged on lees for a short period. Winemaker Samuel Billaud. Vegan. Available in 8 stores. Good to see no corners cut on supermarket Chablis but surely this is overpriced? (Written before tasting it!) Fine, delicate, correct and juicy. I’d pay nearly £20 for this … (JR)
Pale in colour, more mineral on the nose than the Petit Chablis. Very complete with a racy marine minerality cutting right through the white flesh. Perfectly positioned on the stones. Bravo. From the last bottling. Drink from 2025-2028. Tasted Jun 2024.
The 2022 Chablis Grands Terroirs has a captivating nose with hints of beeswax and almond complementing the citrus fruit. The palate is very well balanced with the weight of a Premier Cru. Fine delineation and salinity, there is just a touch of spice that enlivens the finish. But overall, this is very controlled. Great value.
