Note di degustazione
The 2016 Meursault Village (Maison Louis Jadot) is showing well from bottle, unfurling in the glass with pretty scents of fresh peach, buttered green orchard fruit and almond paste. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, textural and fleshy, with brisk acids, good depth at the core and a moderately long, chewy finish. This is a fine effort in a challenging year.

(Jadot made 160 barrels, compared to 300 in 2017): Bright, pale yellow. Light, slightly shallow aromas of white peach and flowers. Fresh, juicy and light on its feet, showing good acid energy but only modest depth to its lemon and white stone fruit flavors. Not bad but finishes a bit edgy owing to its modest mid-palate material.
Informazioni sul produttore

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
