Note di degustazione
Good deep red-ruby. High-pitched aromas of red fruits, smoke and game; very Gevrey. Intense, nicely delineated flavors of redcurrant, cherry, licorice, spices and minerals. Firmly built and fresh, finishing with solid tannic spine and lovely lingering spicy perfume. This vibrant and impressive young village wine really calls for five or six years of cellaring. "I like strawberry jam and chocolate in my wines, but not until they're five years old," says Humbert. "I prefer cherry and licorice now."

Good deep red. Flowers and stone on the nose. Then dense, pure and creamy in the mouth, with noteworthy energy to the blackberry and mineral flavors. Finishes long and ripe, with very fine tannins. These vines are a hundred meters from Mazi-Chambertin and normally produce very small grapes, notes Emmanuel Humbert.
