Eight months on fine lees in tank. Gorgeous aroma of honeyed (but not sweet) cedar and a slight nutty character and just starting to hint at linseed. So complex but so cool, the texture is getting richer and the flavours beautifully integrated. Perfect now but no hurry. Lingers long. (JH)

Punteggio 85/100 · Da bere 2015-2019, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Aug 2015
The 2013 Chablis 1er Cru Côte de Léchet has a bold, vanilla pod and crème brûlée-tinged bouquet that seems too mature given its vintage. The palate is rounded in the mouth, soft textured and missing that crucial element of tension and race toward the finish. Easy-drinking Chablis, but nothing more this vintage. Tasted blind, the 2014 is clearly the superior wine.
