Note di degustazione
The 2009 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrieres displays a refined bouquet that demands coaxing from the glass, reluctantly offering faint scents of orange blossom and lemon thyme. The palate is neutral on the entry with Puligny-like nervosite and a crisp citrus finish, although I am seeking more Genevrieres personality to come through and lend race to this 2009 Meursault. Drink 2014-2020.

Intense, slightly fishy nose. Bright, clean and dramatic. Easy to like. Chewy end. (JR)
(Boillot picked these millerande vines very quickly, at the beginning) Citrus peel, flowers and clove on the nuanced nose. Then chewy and thick but with terrific energy and definition to the chewy, lightly saline flavors. Boasts lovely inner-mouth floral and citrus character. Finishes very long and vibrant. This is a domain wine.

Based in Meursault and farming some of the finest vineyards in the Côte de Beaune, Henri Boillot is a leading address in Burgundy. He crafts fine Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, but the estate is best known for its flagship monopole vineyard, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Clos de la Mouchère.
